Douglas Walker, co-founder of A-HA! Performance Solutions and creator of A-Ha! Performance Model, will be coming to Australia in October 2009 to speak and hold workshops implementing the A-Ha! Performance Model.
Doug will be a Keynote Speaker at the WGIA Melbourne Conference on 2 & 3 October 2009. He also plans to visit Bendigo on Tuesday, 6 October, Brisbane on Thursday, 8 October and Sydney on Friday, 9 October where he will hold Corporate Workshops.
Douglas Walker, MS is cofounder of A-Ha! Performance, creator of the A-Ha! Performance Model, a highly regarded manager and sought after key-note speaker, trainer, executive coach, human capital management consultant, executive career advisor, and leading expert in intrinsic motivation management. He teaches A-Ha! at SDSU and UCSD and served as Senior Faculty at the William Glasser Institute and as the Managing Consultant of the San Diego office of DBM, an international leader in transition services. He is also a featured public speaker and has presented for organisations such as Inc, Magazine's Growing Your Company conferences, the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, the San Diego Professional Coaching Alliance, San Diego State University, the North County Personnel Association, Qualcomm, the American Electronics Association, and the Society for Human Resource Managers.
Prior to A-Ha! Performance, Doug was President for the Centre for Accelerated Performance, where he first created and conducted training in the A-Ha! Performance model for Mangers who had been in their function .... then promoted to manager without any appropriate training in manging people. With a Masters degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counselling and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Doug served as one fo the five original resident faculty members, and is still a senior faculty member of the William Glasser Institute. Glasser is a world renowned Psychiatrist and author and an expert on human motivation and behaviour improvement. Doug has an extensive background and network, having taught and presented in Australia, Canada, Japan and throughout the United States.
